MATCHDAY LANTERN

Prompts help people notice. They do not certify a session.

The real decision belongs to current conditions and authorized people at the venue.

BEFORE ACTIVITY

Eight questions for the people who hold real responsibility.

01

Roles

Name who leads the session, supervises young people, decides on the ground and coordinates an emergency response.

02

Equipment

Inspect appropriate protective and playing equipment through the organization's qualified process; set aside anything uncertain.

03

Lanes

Separate feeds, throws, retrieval routes, bags and adjacent activity before pace increases.

04

Boundary

Notice spectators, fences, uneven ground and likely chase routes; fix the environment rather than shifting the burden to a fielder.

05

Weather

Use current authorized information and follow venue or official direction. The app has no live forecast or lightning detection.

06

Water and shade

Plan suitable breaks and respond to individual needs through guardians, leaders and qualified support.

07

Emergency plan

Confirm how the actual venue summons help, provides its location and meets responders. The app is not an emergency directory.

08

Safeguarding

Keep youth activity visible, appropriately supervised and within current organizational communication procedures.

WHEN SOMETHING CHANGES

Stop, locate authority, then respond.

If a person enters a lane, equipment moves, discomfort is reported, the surface changes or weather becomes uncertain, pause the activity. The app cannot interpret the seriousness of an injury or decide whether conditions are safe.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For safeguarding concerns, use the appropriate guardian, organization or safeguarding authority. For match and venue decisions, follow the authorized official or manager.

Youth participation

The app has no chat, direct messages, public profiles, location sharing, media upload, roster or identity field. Adults remain responsible for visible, appropriately supervised activity and approved communication.
